Nova Scotia Advisory Council on the Status of Women
We are proud to be a part of the Government of Nova Scotia’s commitment to prevent domestic violence project: Standing Together led by the Nova Scotia Status of Women Office. We are the successful recipients of two grants that have allowed us to explore the value of land based learning in gender based violence prevention.
Reclaiming Our Roots has been supported by two significant granting opportunities from Inspirit Foundation, including our very first grant in 2018 that allowed us to launch our program.
The Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Society
The Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre and Childhood Development Centre are an important part of our community and we work in partnership with staff and community to provide meaningful land based opportunities in the Halifax area.
